THE WHOLETONES
March 21, 2014 @ 10PM
http://www.reverbnation.com/thewholetones
Formed in 2007 when Alex Dorris and Taylor Freydberg met at a local bluegrass jam, the Wholetones were later completed with the addition Russ Depa, on upright bass, and Mayo Coates on drums.
They play a unique mix of bluegrass, folk, jazz, and metal, all translated through acoustic instruments.
Combining impressive technical skill with the spontaneity of jazz and drive of bluegrass, they put on a captivating live show, jumping from folk to metal as easily as they do from banjo to cello.
The Wholetones’ blend of genres is a result of the four members’ enormously varied musical appetite. They play and listen to reggae, metal, hip-hop, bluegrass, and everything in between, and the end product is a truly original sound. -

THE RED HOT HORNETS
March 29, 2014 9PM
We draw from the influences of Sun Record greats Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, Elvis Presley, & Jerry Lee Lewis. When you add in rockabilly rebels Gene Vincent & Eddie Cochran, you will hear how we bring high energy music with every performance. We try our best to replicate the authentic 1950’s sound that you hear when listening to some of those early rock n’ roll records. We constantly try new set-ups, settings, strings, and techniques to get ‘the sound’.

THE MUD FLAPPERS
April 12, 2014 THEME PARTY NIGHT: 1920/30s Circus Freakshow Night!
http://www.reverbnation.com/themudflappers
“FLORIDANA,” no better word could be used to describe the eclectic sounds of The Mud Flappers. A genre spawned from the art and culture of the swampland they call home. Brandishing a wide arsenal of traditional acoustic instruments, this seven piece mini-orchestra has developed a reputation for ecstatic live performances and infectious onstage energy. Pulling influences every which way from the outlaw country of Johnny Cash, blazing bluegrass of Earl Scruggs, roaming melodies of gypsy swing à la Django Reinhardt, to the prohibitionary jazz of your local speakeasy. This sonic gumbo is held together by the sultrily celestial harmonies of leading ladies, Lauren Carder and Sarah Elizabeth Patrick. Even the most gentle of men transform into drunken scoundrels, while the prudish are left with a case of the vapors after seeing these flappers strut their stuff. -
